For the month of October, I am keeping track of my fitness activity as part of the “oceans to outback” fundraising challenge for the RFDS.
I’ve hit 2/3 of my activity target, and am now focusing on converting those efforts into donations to assist the work of the RFDS. I have decided to offer some giveaways to incentivise generous donation
For the month of October, I am keeping track of my fitness activity as part of the “oceans to outback” fundraising challenge for the RFDS.
I’ve hit 2/3 of my activity target, and am now focusing on converting those efforts into donations to assist the work of the RFDS. I have decided to offer some giveaways to incentivise generous donations, with the first giveaway being a Huon Pine and Resin serving board, which will be won on 1 November 2023 by somebody who donates at least $100 to my RFDS page
I love a challenge, and this particular challenge saw me craft a sizeable boardroom table from Tasmanian Myrtle, framed in Tas Oak atop a Stringy Bark base.
Of course, I integrated pieces of timber with voids, imperfections and flaws which (in earlier times) would have been unsuitable for furniture making. Thankfully, I have resin and an imagination!
